Dr. Yubong Hahn, President Dr. Hahn brings with him over 30 years of start-up and executive management experience. In addition to RMI and Laser Marking Technologies (now RMI Laser Division), Dr. Hahn has either founded or co-founded two additional electro-optics companies: CVI Laser and Optechs of Korea. Dr. Hahn acquired Rocky Mountain Instrument Company in 1983, and continues to manage the company. Dr. Hahn earned his M.S and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Missouri at Rolla, and his BS in Physics from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Steven Hahn, Executive Vice President Mr. Hahn joined RMI in 2000 and brings experience in high technology sales and marketing. Prior to joining RMI, Mr. Hahn sold products and services to various high technology companies as an Account Executive and Business Development representative for Sun Microsystems, Inc. Mr. Hahn earned a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Dr. Zhiming Lu, VP of Technology From 1990 to 1991, Dr. Lu was a postdoctoral fellow in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado, working in the field of chemical vapor deposition of metals. In 1989, he was a research fellow in electrical engineering at Princeton University, working in the field of surface and interface phenomenon of semiconductor materials, metals, and insulators. From 1983 to 1988 he was Associate Professor of Physics at Zhongshan University in Guangzhou, China. From 1981 to 1983 he was a research scholar at Stanford University. Dr. Lu earned a Ph.D. equivalent degree in engineering from the University of Colorado and a BS degree in physics from Nanking University in China.
Greg Minton, VP of Corporate Affairs Mr. Minton has served RMI since 2005 and brings experience in Contracts, Business Law and Real Estate. Mr. Minton holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, a JD from the University of Denver and a MS in Geology from the Colorado School of Mines.
Trisha Heller, Director of Government and Regulatory Affairs Ms. Heller is well versed in U.S. Government compliance and regulatory processes. Previous to her work in the federal regulatory field, Ms. Heller was a distinguished military pilot, having flown missions in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Ms. Heller is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds a JD from the Saint Louis University School of Law.
Thomas Frotten, Director of Infrared Materials Mr. Frotten joined the RMI team in 2007 and brings extensive experience in the development and manufacture of CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) optical materials. Prior to joining RMI, Mr. Frotten served in a variety of engineering, production and quality functions at the Advanced Materials Division of Rohm & Haas (Formerly CVD Inc.). Mr. Frotten holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in Medford, MA.
Young Soo Kim, Sales Manager Mr. Kim has served RMI since 1990 and is a veteran of the Optics industry. With nearly 20 years of extensive hands-on experience in virtually all aspects of the optics manufacturing process, Mr. Kim is responsible for all production and supply chain decisions for RMI. |
