VIS / NIR Narrowband Anti-Reflection (NAR)
400 nm ≤ λ ≤ 2.0 µm
Narrowband Anti-Reflection coatings, often referred to as "V" coatings, reduce surface reflectance to less than 0.25% at the specified center wavelength and normal incidence. "V" coatings are better suited to laser applications than single-layer AR coatings. Coatings for high power wavelengths use special materials that are able to withstand higher power than standard narrowband anti-reflection coatings. These all dielectric coatings are sensitive to polarization, wavelength and angle of incidence.
