Rocky Mountain Instrument Statement Print E-mail

On the morning of October 11, Federal Authorities began an on-site
investigation of Rocky Mountain Instrument’s procedures.

The Company is fully cooperating with the investigation. No accusations or
arrests have been made, and the company is back in operation today.

It is our understanding that this investigation is not related to terrorism,
immigration or hazardous materials.

Also, our affiliate company, RMI Laser, is not under investigation.

Once again, the company is fully cooperating with the authorities at this
time and is under the guidance of professionals who will advise us on how to
proceed.
