Rocky Mountain Instrument Company:  RMI was founded in 1957 as a manufacturer
of traditional optical components. Today, RMI has evolved into a designer
and manufacturer of full spectrum (ultraviolet through far infrared)
optical components and assemblies for laser and imaging applications.
Since purchasing the company in 1983, Dr. Yubong Hahn, a recognized
expert in high power thin film coatings, has transformed RMI-Optical
Division from a seven-person optical shop into an established player
in the photonics industry.
With our expanding international network, RMI can satisfy virtually
any custom short-run or large volume production requirement. Our worldwide
technical staff is knowledgeable and responsive to your needs before
and after delivery.
RMI has established a high degree of experience working with several
major industries, including Aerospace, Military, Medical, Industrial,
Information Processing, Semiconductor, Telecommunications, and Imaging.
Located in the heart of the Denver/Boulder high technology community,
our 90,000 square foot corporate headquarters and primary manufacturing
facility is located in Lafayette, Colorado with additional offshore
subsidiaries are located in Korea and Russia.
RMI Laser, LLC.  (Formerly Laser Marking
Technologies):
Established in 1998 as an independent organization, RMI Laser, LLC.
is a wholly owned subsidiary of RMI. Utilizing our parent company's
strengths in advanced coatings and optics, RMI Laser Division has
established a new standard in laser systems for industrial marking
and engraving applications.
Our commitment at RMI Laser, LLC. is to provide our customers with
innovative and cost-effective lasers to meet the needs of the continually
growing laser marking industry. RMI's reputation for engineering quality
products, while meeting the challenges of industry to create new solutions,
helps us to continually push the limits of laser technology. Our compact,
efficient, diode-pumped, solid-state Nd:YVO4 laser marking systems
(LE series) are the latest proof of this leadership.
