Dr. Yubong Hahn, President/CEO

Dr. Hahn brings with him over 30 years of start-up and executive management experience. In addition to RMI and Laser Marking Technologies (now RMI Laser Division), Dr. Hahn has either founded or co-founded two additional electro-optics companies: CVI Laser and Optechs of Korea. Dr. Hahn acquired Rocky Mountain Instrument Company in 1983, and continues to manage the company. Dr. Hahn earned his M.S and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Missouri at Rolla, and his BS in Physics from West Virginia Wesleyan College.


Steven Hahn, Executive Vice President / Assistant to President

Mr. Hahn joined RMI in 2000 and brings experience in high technology sales and marketing. Prior to joining RMI, Mr. Hahn sold products and services to various high technology companies as an Account Executive and Business Development representative for Sun Microsystems, Inc. Mr. Hahn earned a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.


Deborah Hunt, VP Sales & Marketing

Included in Ms. Hunt's past accomplishments are several years of government contracting, international sales experience, and sales management. Before joining RMI in 1988, Ms. Hunt was employed by an aerospace precision machining company, and the American Coleman Company, a manufacturer of aircraft towing tractors.


Dr. Zhiming Lu, VP Research and Development


From 1990 to 1991, Dr. Lu was a postdoctoral fellow in chemical engineering at the University of Colorado, working in the field of chemical vapor deposition of metals. In 1989, he was a research fellow in electrical engineering at Princeton University, working in the field of surface and interface phenomenon of semiconductor materials, metals, and insulators. From 1983 to 1988 he was Associate Professor of Physics at Zhongshan University in Guangzhou, China. From 1981 to 1983 he was a research scholar at Stanford University. Dr. Lu earned a Ph.D. equivalent degree in engineering from the University of Colorado and a BS degree in physics from Nanking University in China.
