ISO-Cert-Aug-2015Lafayette, Colorado – 8/25/2015 –Maintaining a long history of ISO certification, Rocky Mountain Instrument Co. (RMI) was recently re-certified with ISO 9001:2008 on August 18, 2015. This certification indicates compliance with the International Organization of Standardization's quality management system requirements.

The objective of the five day audit was to closely examine details of RMI's quality management system. This included a stringent investigation into the company's overall organization, efficiency, and compliance with both internal objectives as well as external statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

The RMI managers who represented the company during the audit were Greg Minton, Vice President of Corporate Affairs; John Smith, ISO / Quality Assurance Manager; and Thomas Frotten, Director of Advanced Materials.

In an assessment report regarding the findings of the audit, Senior Lead Assessor David Westenfeld made a note of the management team's exceptional efforts stating,

"It is not often that I find a company that has made such significant progress in taking their ISO system to a much higher level. At RMI, Greg Minton, John Smith, and Thomas Frotten do just that. With the full backing of Mr. Steve Hahn, the CEO, they have completely revitalized the QMS operations within the scope of their registration."

RMI has been ISO certified for over twenty years and intends to be re-certified with ISO 9001:2015 upon their newest certificate's expiration in July 2018.
